Patna, March 23, 2026 – The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially announced the Class 12th Intermediate results for 2026 today at 1:30 PM IST. The results were revealed during a press conference at the board’s headquarters. Bihar Education Minister, BSEB Chairman Anand Kishore, and other officials shared the results for over 13 lakh students who appeared in the exams.
About the Exams
BSEB Intermediate exams were held from February 2 to February 13, 2026, in offline mode across Bihar. This year, results came earlier than in some previous years, thanks to a faster evaluation process.
Key Highlights of BSEB 12th Result 2026
- Overall Pass Percentage: 85.19%, slightly lower than last year but still strong.
- Girls vs Boys: Girls performed better, with a pass rate of 86.23% compared to boys at 84.09%. Out of 26 toppers across all streams, 19 were girls.
- Stream-wise Performance: Commerce and Science streams showed excellent results, while Arts maintained steady performance.
- Successful Students: Over 5.16 lakh students cleared the exams.

- 2nd (Joint): Sakshi Kumari and Sapna Kumari – 479 marks (95.80%)
Arts Stream
- 1st: Nishu Kumari – 479 marks (95.80%)
- 2nd (Joint): Siddhi Shikha, Chandradeep Kumar, Md Lucky Ansari – 478 marks (95.60%)
Commerce Stream
- Top Performer: Aditi Kumari (Patna) – 480 marks (96.00%)

Steps to Check:
- Open any official BSEB result website.
- Click “BSEB Intermediate Result 2026” or “Class 12 Result”.

- Download or print the provisional marksheet for future reference.
Original marksheets will be given by schools in the coming weeks. Students can also try DigiLocker if websites are busy.
