What Exactly Is This Scholarship?

There are two main categories:
- Category I – Top 50 QS-ranked US universities: Full tuition coverage, decent stipend, health insurance, air ticket – pretty much everything you need.
- Category II – Ranked 51 to 100: Tuition support up to $12,000 per year + stipend and other stuff.
The funding is really solid – especially in the top category. You basically just focus on research and studies, no side stress about bills.
Who Can Apply? (Eligibility – Check This First)

- Pakistani citizen (AJK people included)
- Age under 40 years (government employees or faculty sometimes get a little relaxation)
- Completed MS/MPhil (18 years of education)
- Admission (at least conditional offer) in a PhD program at a top 100 QS-ranked US university
- GRE General Test score minimum 300 (or HAT 60%+ in some cases)
- You have to sign a bond to come back and serve in Pakistan for at least 5 years
- No other conflicting scholarship running at the same time
Field doesn’t matter much – STEM, social sciences, agriculture, health, education, whatever. But if it matches national priorities, your chances go up a bit.

How Much Does It Actually Cover? (Fully Funded Breakdown)

- Yearly stipend around $19,200 (enough to live decently in most US cities)
